Why my sprayer sprays UNEVEN FINISH?

Before starting the article, let’s have a look at the video which taken by our customer.

You will better understand the “uneven finish”.

I believe that when many of you have this problem,

the first thing that comes to your mind is ‘this spray gun is defective’, ‘the quality of this spray gun is not good’, etc.

In fact, this problem is more to do with the paint you use.

We often go abroad to participate in exhibitions, and we always buy a can of latex paint in Taiwan and put it in our suitcase.

After all, when exhibiting abroad, there is no free time to buy paint, and because we are not familiar with the local area, we don’t know where we can get paints.

So, it’s much easier to take it out of Taiwan by ourselves.

But it often happens that our latex paint is confiscated when checking the luggage in Taiwan airport,

because the paint manufacturer puts safety signs like inflammable or explosive on the cans, causing the security inspectors

to think that this does not meet the rules.

But once, I remember that our paint was confiscated in Taiwan, so we had to find a local store to buy it.

At that time, we thought that the more expensive the paint, the better the finish you will get.

So, we bought few high-price cans of latex paint to test spray the board, and the result was the same as in the video,

it sprayed thickly and not fine at all.

We tried to add water to dilute it, but no matter how much water was added, we could not achieve optimum spray pattern.

After returning to Taiwan, we used the same sprayer and filled it with

the latex paint we usually use. In the result, this problem disappeared.

From that experience, we found

 Not all latex paints are suitable for sprayer.

There are many types of latex paints on the market that euphuize functionality.

Each brand of paint has its own formula. Therefore, the resin raw materials they used are different, and the viscosity is also different.

This will affect the atomization effect of sprayer.

What paints can be used with rollers and brushes, and what can be used with sprayers, this will be clearly marked on the can.

 So, when buying paint, be sure to ask the store if it can be used with sprayer.

Or read the label on the can of paint, if there is an icon of sprayer or any label that shows suitable for sprayer,

then you can use it without any concern!
